A Pad
In day-to-day activities, we have many things to do in a day and there are many things we need to make a small note of it. We have the habit of organizing our tasks for the day in a paper and there are lot of time we missed or forgot many tasks that we are supposed to do for the day. This application is developed to come over this hassle. Today mobile phones have become more common and it has almost become a basic necessity for a human being. This application runs on the mobile phones and the users can enter, track and follow on the tasks they are suppose to do and can also make a quick note on anything they wanted to do.
The main features of the product are listed below:
- Allows users to add/delete Tasks (ToDo)
- Set Reminder for Tasks
- Snooze Reminder for Task
- Sort Tasks based on scheduled time and name.

- Easy identification of Task status and settings.
- Mark the Tasks as completed.
- Allows users to add/delete Notes
- Sort Notes based on created time and name.

Usage
Tasks Tab
The Tasks Tab displays the list of Tasks the user has entered. On every task, there is a Pad icon at the right corner. The Pad icon indicates the status of the Task.

On the left corner of each task, There are three images and a checkbox. The three images denotes the settings of the Task.

The three images gets displayes based on the settings of the respective Task.
1) Add Task
Select the Add button on Tasks Tab. This brings up the screen to add a new Task in to the Task List. You can set Due date and Reminder to the task when you create it.
2) Sort Task
Select the Sort button (near Add Button) to sort the tasks list. The application supports the below four sorting methods
DueDate
DueDate Reverse
TaskName
TaskName Reverse
3) View Task
Long Touch the task that you wish to view. This brings up a popup window that displays the Task Information. You can select Ok to return or select Edit to edit the Task.
4) Edit Task
Long Touch the task that you wish to view. This brings up a popup window that displays the Task Information. Select Edit to edit the Task.
5) Delete Task
Select Menu->Delete. This pops up a window with the delete option. The Application has the below delete options.
Delete Selected
Delete Completed
Delete Expired
Delete All
You can select any combinations to delete the task and select Ok.
6) Complete Task
a) Touch the Task that needs to be marked as completed. As soon as its touched, the task gets marked as completed and the task gets stricked out. This is a toggle touch. Touching it again marks it as pending.
b) Select the Tasks that needs to be marked as completed and select Menu->Complete.
7) Email Task
Select that task that needs to be Emailed and select Menu->Email. This pops up a window where you can enter Your Name and the Email Address to send the email to. Please note that this feature asks for/uses the existings email client that you have configured in your phone for mail.
Notes Tab
The Notes Tab displays the list of notes that you have entered and saved. Each Notes has a Note icon displays on right which indicates the color of the note.
1) Add Note
Select the Add button on Note Tab. This brings up the screen to add a new Note in to the Note List. You can enter the note details, select color and save the note.
2) Sort Note
Select the Sort button (near Add Button) to sort the notes list. The application supports the below four sorting methods
Created Date
Created Date Reverse
Title
Title Reverse
3) View/Edit Note
Long Touch the note that you wish to view/edit. This brings up a new window that displays the Note Information. You can edit and select update to save the note or select Cancel to return back to Note Tab.
5) Delete Note
Select the note that you would like to delete. Then select Menu->Delete to delete the selected notes. Once you have confirmed, the selected notes will be permanently deleted.
7) Email Note
Select that notes that needs to be Emailed and select Menu->Email. This pops up a window where you can enter Your Name and the Email Address to send the email to. Please note that this feature asks for/uses the existings email client that you have configured in your phone for mail.
Reminder
The Application reminds on the Time that you have set the reminder at and displays a status notification. When you click on the Notification, it displays a popup window with the Task Information.
Reminder Snooze
The Application reminds on the Time that you have set the reminder at and displays a status notification. When you click on the Notification, it displays a popup window with the Task Information. The information window has option to Snooze the reminder. You can select snooze and select the time to remind again.
